From there, we were looking for someone flexible and open to working with the approach to renovation we were taking. There are always challenges on a project of this size and complexity, but overall our expectations were met. We appreciated the positive solutions Dean brought to the technical challenges that are inevitable in a renovation project. Dean's team reflected those values also and were a pleasure to work with. We had some very clear goals around creating a contemporary home that had great connections between the "hub of the home" out to the living spaces and the outdoor areas that adjoin them with hospitality and entertainment being a key theme for us. In addition, we were looking to create work from home options which are connected to the house, but that can be separated from family life.
